They were NOT demanding escalation in Afghanistan.
They were NOT demanding the slowest possible withdrawal from Iraq.
They were NOT demanding that Gitmo be kept open as long as possible.
They were NOT demanding TARP and the further bank bailouts.
They were NOT demanding that cost controls and the public option be left out of HCR.
They were NOT demanding that interest rate limits be stripped from credit reform.
They were NOT demanding that nothing be done about unemployment.
They were NOT demanding that EFCA be left to wither away.
And they were NOT demanding that the Democratic base be treated as junior partners in the coalition.
They just wanted leadership and solutions. They were NOT driven by hatred of OUR party and its principles.
