Houston Chronicle ran a story the other day about a vote that's apparently going to pass in some Texas towns.. You know this will end up the SCOTUS, and with the gang in there now, it will probably be upheld..

Brownish/swarthy/hispanic-looking people will be challenged to prove they are citizens of no rental..

The way the article's written strongly implies that documented, legal immigrants who are not citizens would still be able to rent. Indeed, if they could not, this would become a major legal problem. ...Not that this alone won't become a hard fought legal issue but, legal immigrants have rights related to their legal residency.
