Who Are The Other Dem Congressmen That Support Stupak?...... |
|
I know one is my congressman - Dan Lipinski (D-IL 3rd). Lipinski referred to a dozen supporters in an e-mail he sent out yesterday - but they never identify who those people are. I know Rachel makes fun of Stupak and the list he carries around in his pocket of these people. The other day Rachel indicated that at best there are 4 or 5 supporters - not 12.
Can we identify the others here and put some pressure on them?
If your Congressman supports Stupak - please post their name, state and district here.

Do we know how the others on your list are voting?
I don't see Lipinski on the list - he should be - his e-mail of yesterday confirmed that he would be voting 'no'.

8. He lost Oberstar and Wilson. Kaptur wants a deal on a separate abortion bill. |

Ellsworth is indicating he may vote for it. Cao said he will take a look at the language in the bill after Obama spoke to him directly (and he is a Repub, not a Dem). So that leaves 7 definite names in his pocket.

11. Alright MA start calling Rep Lynch....switch his vote |
|
Edited on Fri Mar-19-10 10:43 AM by Tippy
Even after a 40 minute meeting with the president yesterday, Rep. Lynch (D-MA) is still a no on Health Care Reform. Looking like a pretty likely primary challenge to come.
