Christiane Amanpour Will Anchor "This Week"

This is fantastic news, best thing that's happened to the media since CNN hired Christiane and Olberman went on MSNBC.

"CNN’s Christiane Amanpour has been tapped by ABC News to be the new anchor of This Week, following in the steps of George Stephanopoulos. She will focus the program on international issues and anchor longer prime-time documentary projects in her new position."

2. I'm shocked that she was willing to take a "desk job" so to speak.

I always figured she would stick with her international reporting. Then again she does have a family I believe, so she might finally be settling down.

I honestly don't think the networks will allow it..
