My theory is that not one single DUer defends the war in Iraq.

Not one.

If I'm wrong, please chime in. And no, just voting to prove me wrong doesn't count, you have to reply and tell us why.

2. 'Defend' and 'Support' are different things

I doubt many, if any, would argue in defense of the war/occupation of Iraq.

However, the vast majority of us 'support' it with our tax dollars (myself included). Also with our votes for Democrats, quite frankly, since the Dem politicians have and do (and will likely continue to) support it with their legislative votes.

It may behoove us to think a little harder about what these words mean, and to remember that what, for most of us, are abstract ideas about what we 'like' or 'dislike' or 'believe in' or 'agree with' are really material matters of life and death for others.
