Obama asked if the American People or the private interests will win? |
|
Honestly, this bill is an ins. give away. I'm just hoping that its a massive failure and gets people into single payer faster.. esp. when they are forced to buy it and it doesn't cover shit.

3. He said it during the rally in VA.. I think Stinky was watching the same channel. |

His point explains what I mean.. I can't link a YouTube at work.. sorry, on MSNBC blip...
Watching people cheer against themselves just now was like I felt watching Bush people cheer for upside down things.. I'd shake my head and wonder "really, they don't see they are clapping against themeselves".

4. This is sort of what I am thinking - that certain aspects of it will be such |
|
a horrible failure that we will HAVE TO go to single payer.
More people will have medical insurance, but the rate of bankruptcies due to medical expenses will continue to rise.

5. Actually, no matter what, people will be priced out of being able to pay for anything. |
|
As it is, companies are dumping "full time" to avoid the mandate.

6. If ENOUGH people get priced out, the path to single payer will be laid wide open. |

Medical insurers wil have zero clout if they have zero customers.

8. Well, I consider this to be a long-term WAR against injustice. And I may |
|
be one of the casualties ultimately, but in the end we WILL prevail.

9. That's the truly sad part. |

It seems our government prefers to have "bodied people" die while protecting "corporate people" at all costs (to borrow MurryHillInc's "people" terms). Hopefully this wrong-headed approach will reach it's natural conclusion quickly.

10. I'm afraid the POTUS has been on a trash-the-insurance-company tour, |
|
all the while serving us up to them. I don't get it.

11. The stump speach he is giving could have clearly given us a Public Option. |
