I don't remember the last year that I was not involved in a political campaign

I first worked on political campaigns back in 1992. I was out of it more or less until 2000. I have been campaigning every year since 2000. I even ran for local office in 2001 and 2009.

This year I am burned out. I've been sick and struggling to pay for medical treatment.
All of the HCR debate has been burning me out.

Yet, this year I am sure I will be out petitioning and campaigning again.

I doubt I will work for either of my Senators, but I will work for my assemblyman, congressman (Big Mo Hinchey), and for Andrew Cuomo for Governor. I guess I will carry petitions and GOTV for all of Cuomo's team, even the Senators if they are on board with Cuomo.

My passion has been drained by my lack of access to affordable medical treatment. Yet I go on. Fuckin retarded indeed..

2. I was thinking of running for city council in 2011

so I would need to do the groundwork this year..
But I don't think I will run in 2011 - it is just too expensive and the City of Newburgh is in such trouble,..
