Mission (passage and implementation of the oil law in Iraq) *Not* Accomplished!
Edited on Tue May-01-07 10:28 AM by rec_report

Four years later, mission (passage and implementation of the oil law in Iraq) *not* accomplished! But, alas alak, columns of smoke are rising from the Green Zone, so... it's time to announce that an 'al Qaeda leader in Iraq' might be dead (LOL!) and it's an even better time to bring back the Natalee Holloway case! See: New developments could heat up in Natalee Holloway case. They're going to search Joran van der Sloot's yard! --CLG]

U.S. toll in Iraq for April is 104 --More troops facing more danger in streets 01 May 2007 Five U.S. troops died in weekend attacks, pushing the April death toll past 100 in the deadliest month for American forces since December, the military said Monday as a wave of (US) violence killed 102 Iraqi civilians, including more than 30 in a suicide bombing at a Shiite funeral.

2. Oh Yeah! That's what we're bleeding and killing for.
The next time I get a chance to caption a picture of Cheney, I have the subject in mind already.

3. Yup, also for Monsanto's GM seeds to planted in Iraq:
Forcing Iraqi farmers to buy seeds from Monsanto was one of the first 'missions' accomplished by L. Paul Bremer III.

4. Why can't these "people" recognize Blasphemy when they see it?
Edited on Tue May-01-07 12:26 PM by patrice
It's popular to call it "hubris" these days, a euphamism that hides a deeper intoxication. The difference being that the classic model for hubris, Icarus, made (a machine) wings and flew too close to the sun god's chariot, so he himself suffered for his flaw.

Blasphemy is deeper, because divine intoxication results in actions that force, in one degree or another, others to suffer for your flaw. Experimenting with other people's food production is a manifestation of blasphemy.
