Poll question: Has your admiration for Dennis Kucinich increased or decreased over the course of this week?
What a long, strange bill it's been...

1. I have always supported Dennis for the same reason I support the ACLU.
They act as anchors way out on the fringe and they stand on principle, even when it's counterproductive. We need one or two people like that.

Kucinich is no longer that man for me.

2. Because of just one vote?
He's a progressive politician, not a progressive saint.

4. Because he's chosen not to stand on his principles.
Look, I disagree with a lot of his positions, but I respect the fact that he's stood behind them until now.

6. No Change
Didn't dislike him before, just didn't agree with everything he said.

But being an adult I was able to separate personal and political feelings. I understood why he was doing what he was doing, didn't blame him for doing it, and now also don't blame him for being able to see it a different way..

7. It has not changed at all
Kucinich is a Congressman from a district he represents. He does a better job than most at raising the issues that affect average Americans. I assume he decides his votes just as other people in his position do. He votes as closely to his principles as he is able while still maintaining his political viability. That's what I thought when he planned to vote against it and it's what I think now.
