1. He didn't but neither did Bush
Edited on Tue May-01-07 11:11 AM by underpants
Neither one released them. They were available to look at but there were some privacy issues at least that is what both stated as the reason. Kerry's were available to look at not Bush's.

The talking point cleverly misses the fact that Bush didn't release his either. They are great at not mentioning things that are as important as the things that they do mention.

and working with the Soviet Union ... if Hitler were not facing two fronts (gee, we were, too ... Germany/Italy and Japan), he might have just totally dominated Europe ...

Edited to add:

Plus, the isolationist Conservatives were anti-war back then ...

26. Released EVERYTHING but private medical rec in 2004 - media pushed the liars who said he didn't
He kept saying he released it - but media didn't care to illuminate their audiences.

5. Why the hell are you arguing with an idiot and allowing him/her to define the conversation?
I gave up on that. At roughly the same time, I quit trying to convince the cat that scratching the furniture pisses me off.

There are some discussions that simply should never happen.

I'm looking for a response to a Freeper's post about Kerry lying about spending Christmas in Cambodia and about not releasing his military records.

Here is the forum:

At various times, we all feel the calling to educate the willfully ignorant and correct lying bastards.

Believe me, you're wasting your time. You can post a correction and even give a handful of links and pdf files containing Kerry's records. This same jackass will post the same comment on another forum tomorrow or on the same forum next week. They aren't interested in peddling the truth -- their game is making an impact on like-minded morons.

Respond if you will, but yer pissin into the wind.

12. well, you know our military
a bunch of radical pinko liberal tree huggers & dope smokers. how can you trust them?

I do remember Will Pitt posting about Hannity & Colmes having the recording of the main RW swiftoater talking to Nixon and telling the president he had spent Christmas in Cambodia, with Nixon saying, "in a swiftobat?" and the swiftie affirming that in his response.

as they did a story on Kerry's records and they reviewed them.

The freepers want his medical records, they insist they are entitled to them. I believe he has not released them yet and they consider them a part of his military records.

edit: They also are conspiracy kooks, they think Carter had his records cleaned up and gave him the honorable discharge. :eyes: It's not really worth discussing this with them. They think the weedboy was protecting our borders when he was in the NG.

21. Releasing records or not doesn't matter, only one thing does:
John Kerry served in combat in Vietnam.

* avoided Vietnam, then went AWOL from his stateside unit.

How any idiot (I mean the person you're arguing with, not you NewJeffCt) could possibly try to compare Kerry vs. Bush in terms of military records boggles my mind. They have absolutely no leg to stand on.

23. Do you ever hear about bush paying for his call girl's abortion
Her name was McNeil or something like that. You never hear the press go after him for that. Even if he says his views have changed he did it.

And you never hear anything about the stalking law suit filed in Texas. The funny thing about that is it was on the internet. You could pull it up at the Texas Civil Suit site and then about a month later it disappeared. I thought that once filed that number would permanently be assigned to the law suit regardless of what happened. Even tho the complainant was later said to have committed suicide. She was his "girl friend" in high school. Had a miscarriage, (said to have been caused because she was beaten up). Left Texas. Then about 25 years of so later turned up married. That's when she filed the civil law suit against bush for stalking and sexual harassment.

Never ever have you head one darn thing about either of these two incidents about bush...why. They are both a matter of public record. But the innuendos and false statements about democrats continue to run rampant.

So there has not been an exteranal review. The BG is not a qualified external reviewer IMO.
