How about one for a Dem incumbent with a GOP challenger?

Think bumper stickers.

3. Depends on that person's ideology. If they are a DLCer, perhaps
"Republican Lite." If they are on the left, it might be helpful to say "I'll Fight For You" and then actually follow through. Not seeing a lot of principled Dems these days, though. They seem as interested in lining their pockets as the other guys.

5. TV ad-"My Republican opponent supports outsourcing American jobs to China."
"And if elected I will introduce legislation to ban job outsourcing and bring our jobs back home."

I imagine folks would gravitate to a Democrat that had the guts to campaign with the truth.

That's if we could actually find any Democrats with guts.

Wanted: A candidate with guts.

6. For the Dem challenger, be a fresh face,
have a good smile and focus on jobs, jobs, jobs.

For the Dem incumbent, tout all that Dems have done to save the economy and their efforts to get 30 million WORKING POOR insured. The goppers don't care about poverty. They care about the working poor, the middle class that is getting screwed.

7. "I am not owned by your boss or your banker."
Not sure I could boil it down any more than that without losing the notion that you're for the working class and not the corporate class.

The alternative I thought up was "I am not made in China," but that could easily be seen as more of a commentary on consumerism as opposed to your opponent.
