On the RW argument that the Democratic health care reform cost too much:
Edited on Sat Mar-20-10 11:42 AM by ProSense
The U.S. spent $2.3 trillion in 2008. Over ten years, that's 23 trillion.

1 trillion over 10 year to reform the system, reduce cost and cover 32 million more people is tiny by comparison.

BREAKING: Dems offer largest deficit-reduction bill since '93

1. this isn't reform. It's a continuance and entrenchment.

3. actually, when we look at the bill, it's a huge gift to corporations, which will further
entrench coporations with money and power and leech THE PEOPLE. It's a Republican Trojan Horse.

4. So what?
It will help some people, and it will help Obama and the Democrats.

Or would you rather that thousands of Americans die because they don't have insurance?

7. some people? yeah, the disease management corporation investors.
Certainly don't want people to die, but not for lack of insurance that is set up to deny care and payment. You think it's bad now?! We'll revisit this in a few months and certainly if it makes it to 2014 and beyond when the crap really hits the fan.

Ummm... How come health care stocks have risen 28% since last October? How come premiums are rising up to 30 and 40%? It's unsustainable.

It's a Reublican-values bill.

9. You: "when we look at the bill"
You: "Amazing how you think you know other people's views, intentions, and actions."
