Here is a nice 20 slide presentation on the fiscal policy choices facing the U.S. It just goes to show that a lot of the fluff about earmarks and such is just that, fluff. Health care, social security and military spending all suck the oxygen out of the room. Other discretionary spending really don't scratch the surface.
