Police discover meth lab in their own lobby;
Some stuff you just can't make up. Such as what happened when a young lady went to visit an inmate at the Dubuque County Jail on Thursday.

Leanne M. Cox, 27, of La Motte, Iowa fell asleep while waiting to visit an inmate Thursday. When an officer checked on her around 1:30 p.m., they found she was impaired: fidgety, unsteady on her feet and difficult to understand.

An officer placed Cox under arrest for public impairment. She admitted to using a combination of several drugs, Snyder said.

Then, while searching her backpack after her arrest, police found items used in the manufacturing of meth, including lithium batteries, coffee filters.

Moral of the story? Don't take a mobile meth lab to jail with you.
