I think Michelle Obama has better things to do than bother with a teabagger's trashy kid.

4. I almost thought that it was Jonathan KROHN's twitter
Krohn is that teenager who spoke at the 2009 Conservative Political Action Committee. And then I read the post and found that it was Jonathan COHN of New Republic magazine.

And you're right about "Michelle Obama has better things to do than bother with a teabagger's trashy kid." I'm sure that there are families out there who really need and deserve help with nutrition. But not the KFC-munchin' meat-eatin' Tea Partiers who dismiss organic foods and low-fat diets as hippie nonsense.

I wonder if it counts as child abuse to feed a child too much fatty junk foods, and I suppose that the rally speaker might have a point if Child Protective Services began putting parents in jail because the parents fed the kids too much McDonald's food? I remember this public service announcement where some doctors went into some home and replaced all the junk food in the fridge with fruits and vegetables.

7. don't you think it's a bad idea to stereotype?
caucasians hardly have a monopoly on feeding their children crap. and i think i can safely say that alot of the first lady's focus is on AA's feeding their children unhealthy food.

Where in that post did the poster claim only white people feed their children bad food? The poster was only calling out the idiot teabaggers who are attacking the first lady for her cause.

And I can safely say that a lot of the first lady's focus is on ALL people who feed their children unhealthy food. So whose 'stereotyping' now? :eyes:

The kid can't help it if the parent is a teabagger. No need to call the kid trashy.

20. Agreed
My dad's mom was a horrible bigot. But somehow he grew up to be the most non bigotted person I have ever known. And none of my dad's kids are racists.

17. Jail time for McDonald's? Really?
I think I'll pass on totalitarianism, thanks. I like the idea of replacing the foods in the fridge -- that's pretty good, and accomplishes something useful. The other idea creates a prison state a-la 'Demolition Man'. Do you really want to give repukes an actual reason to fear totalitarianism? Isn't there kookiness enough?

18. Who's suggesting we send people to jail for eating McDonald's?
Michelle Obama's encouraging people to eat better, not lock them up.
