This May 1st day in history-62 years ago in Berlin Germany
Allied Forces were fighting block by block as the Third Reich fell-supposedly Hitler and Eva Braun's bodies were recovered by former USSR troops. As VE Day approached, many Nazi war criminals were cutting deals and were clandestinely "recruited" to battle godless communism.

Some of these Nazi war criminals wound up in the Americas, and those that were given identities and employment as US citizens working in national security found a political home in the RW of The Republican Party where they continued to bring other Nazis, Nazi partisans, colleagues, families and social networks into the Americas.

On May 1st 1972 Quang Tri (a provincial capitol of then S. Vietnam) fell to the North Vietnamese despite the policy of "Vietnamization"-this was during the period of Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger's "secret" negotiations with the N. Vietnamese as well as the recognition of China, the "tilt" towards West Pakistan against India during West Pakistan's genocide in East Pakistan and massive illegal domestic political surveillance and suppression of political opposition to the policies and persona of Richard Nixon and The Republican Party.

During the Nixon administration traitors like Richard Perle, Richard Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld had already established themselves as loyal political operatives within ever expanding interconnected criminal networks.

Four years ago the propaganda delivery system of George Walker Bush declared combat operations in Iraq over on an aircraft carrier that displayed a "Mission Accomplished" banner on its bridge.

All of these historical political events are related to today, May 1, 2007.

Let's discuss them.

1. Final days of Berlin. Pathetic. 12 year old boys and the elderly
were the only ones left behind to fight the Allies with limited defense. Everyone else left the City or was in The Bunker.

7. there weren't 'allies' in Berlin - only russians. not many of the kids and elderly
dragooned in the final days did any fighting. most ran away ASAP.

8. Pathetic
Not quite the case. Hitler had forbidden anyone from leaving the City. Hundreds of thousands of Berliners were trapped in the dying city by their own government or the soldiers of the Soviet Army.

2. The Nazi aspect has always been best discussed by Octafish
here's a great example from 9-2-2006
"Hey RUMSFELD! Who's your NAZI?"

That "influence" is still strong in this total war criminal administration.

6. eliminated the stigma of "aliens"

28 October 49 The Secretary of the Army approved the transfer of the Ordnance Research and Development Division Sub-Office (Rocket) at Fort Bliss, Texas, to Redstone Arsenal. Among those transferred were Dr. Wernher von Braun and his team of German scientists and technicians, who had come to the United States under Operation Paperclip during 1945 and 1946.

11 November 54 Thirty-nine of Redstone's German-born scientists, along with the wives of two of the Operation Paperclip group, were sworn in as U.S. citizens. This event had a favorable impact on the arsenal's overall public relations image because it eliminated the stigma of "aliens" working on highly classified missions for U.S. defense.

10. In 1968 The Israeli Embassy had been wiretapped. Richard N. Perle
was a national security policy adviser to Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson of Wyoming (Cheney's turf). Later concerns about a National Security Council/NSC leak developed.

Richard N. Perle was heard discussing classified NSC material on the wiretapped Israeli embassy line, but nothing ever came of that.

Henry Kissinger served in the 970th Counter Intelligence Corps. Detachment later known as the 66th CIC Detachment which participated in the clandestine recruitment of Nazis and Nazi partisans.

11. The Nixon/Kissinger secret political policies were demonstrated against
and on May 4th 1970 unarmed students were shot, and 4 killed by members of the Ohio National Guard on the Kent State campus.

This first week of May in history is continuing along the interconnected lines of my OP.

Anyone remember May 4th, 1970?
