1. They have!
And they need to be well rested for the coming day...

Soon we will all be rejoicing!

:woohoo:

2. Pfsst. They have given it nothing. I hope the lack of a Public Option

haunts their dreams and wakes them screaming. Sorry. They did nothing except support the worst of all poissible options and did nothing to get a good bill when they had a chance. They are huge disappoint ments.Nancy appeared to try for awhile but in the end she sold out for a bill that could have been written by the GOP.

12. Thanks...not here to stay or anything.
I just pop in occasionally.

Nothing to see here. I am not the former DUer you are looking for. You can go about your business. Move along. ;)

4. I disagree, but I sure know what you mean. I'm hugely disappointed about no
PO, too, but I'm happy that we're going to get this passed. I've come across the spectrum on this, much to my surprise. For the PO, I'm hugely excited about Grayson's bill, and raring to get going on that.

6. I agree about that but I fear it is a trojan horse , or just for cover.

I really don't see then handling this before November and they certainly won't afterward. I hope I am wrong.

8. I'm cautiously encouraged that he, Kucinich, Bernie, Weiner and some others
are vowing to keep the pedal to the metal regarding a PO.

I read where Grayson's will be in the amendments tomorrow but isn't expected to pass because at this point it prob doesn't have the Senate votes.

We were able to pressure 51 to sign a letter about reconciliation, I think we can keep up the pressure on this. And Grayson's seems like such a no-brainer. We'll have to see, but I really am hopeful on this. :hi:

9. Yeah sure
You try to tell me this bill is a gigantic disappointment a year from now when I am back on my dads health plan and receiving medical care I could never have afforded otherwise.

10. It's for people like you that I'm so happy -- It won't help me at all, but
it WILL help MILLIONS. That is a wonderful provision of this bill! Keep well! :hi:
