The Freepers And Teabaggers Are Evil People And We Need A United Front Against Them
Edited on Sun Mar-21-10 05:07 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
Calling Barney Frank the F-word and and calling John Lewis the N-word shows the mendacity of the Teabaggers and Freepers.

I stand with anybody who stands against them.

1. I am wondering when they will take it to the next violent level
We have already seen Teabaggers wearing arms. Its only a matter of time before the shooting starts, and then this country will have to face the truth, we are in for some very bad times ahead, with these people. I am not sure what can be done. I favor a hate speech act, towards people like Beck, Limbaugh and Fox News. The FCC needs to get involved.

2. They Can Talk All They Want.. It's A Free Country
But the minute they resort to violence they should be put down by "any means necessary".

4. A united front against bleating and tourettes-like exclamations?
Do you really want to dignify them by turning them into foes across some battlefield?

How about treating them like they deserve, like knuckle-dragging bags of pus? Our "united front" has to be a continual reminding of the non-crazy part of the American people that such scum don't represent -- and must not be allowed to pretend to represent -- American values. They can't withstand scorn, especially when it comes from within their own communities.

6. It Is A Battle For The Hearts And Minds Of The American People
The Teabaggers and Freepers represnt a significant minority of view. I suspect it is around twenty five percent of the populus; about the same amount of the populus that was sympathetic to the National Socialists in Germany in the 1930s. And their numbers were enough to drag the world into war.

13. Well. I'm very glad that Glenn Beck isn't Adolf Hitler, then.
And I dispute your numbers. FReepers are a few thousand people who -- at their worse -- are capable of retail violence (e.g., flying a plane into the local IRS office) but not of organizing a potluck dinner for more than 5 people. Teabaggers are few tens of thousands of losers with a thin scum of opportunists floating on the top, and with the Republicans jealously eying their passion and figuring out how to co-opt it.

Potentially dangerous? You bet. They bear watching, and a double helping of scorn. But a crediible threat? Not at this point. They have no ideology save crankiness, and that's not going to win hearts and minds outside the terminally cranky. Resentful Republicans muttering "socialist" under their breath while flicking past an Obama speech on the TV don't count.

11. Yes.
Sorry, I'm not content to sit on my thumb and tell myself these fucking lynch mobs are just harmless rednecks.

The unfortunate fact is that lots of Democrats, and self-professed liberals (though I question it) are standing locked arm-in-arm with these dumbfucks because - of course - these "liberals" expected Obama to be a fucking magical house neg - uh, magical house elf and fix everything, exactly like they want it, immediately, now, now, now, now!

12. I Think The Lion's Share Of Teabaggers Are Non-Violent.
But there are violent men and women among them. There is nothing more dangerous than a weak man or woan with a gun.

However, I think racism is at the core and is part and parcel of the Teabagger movement.

21. Give them an inch...
it's my feeling that they're going to keep racking it up to see how far they can go. Someone's going to get violent, and both the media and both parties will excuse them as "the actions of a few bad apples" and it'll just get worse.

14. Except that they aren't actually lynch mobs, are they?
They're cowards yelling "nigger" at someone they know has too much class to yell back.

And those disappointed with Obama for not being what they imagined him to be may not be cheering him any more but they're hardly linking arms with these trogs and calling Barney Frank a faggot.

Full disclosure: I'm disappointed with Obama for playing footsie with "bipartisanship" when it was obvious to a blind dog that the other side was just not interested.

15. That's Why I Didn't Support Him In The Primaries
Edited on Sun Mar-21-10 05:55 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
Either he was naive or disingenuous when he made bipartisanship a major part of his campaign but we are past that.

He's the president and much of the opposition from the right is based on his color and nothing could be more repugnant to me.

16. I've seen links to a variety of stories that suggest . . .
That teabagger and wingnut opposition comes from outright terror that a ni . . . excuse me, "a black man" could be in the White House and the very fact deranges them. Kind of the way they responded to Clinton (because "white trash" had no place in that hallowed house), but on steroids.

I think those pointing to Obama Derangement Syndrome are right. And such people are suicidally odious (and obvious), and one likely positive outcome of all this is that Republicans, teabaggers, and the wingnutariat in general will suffer yet another credibility hit from this, and be less able to mount credible campaigns in November.

7. I'm reminded of this plus living in the 60s

Hate-filled bigots marched Monday to demand insults for people of all skin tones, regardless of race or nationality.

WASHINGTON—A coalition of the nation's most fervent bigots convened in Washington Monday to address growing concerns that the production of hateful new racial slurs has failed to keep pace with the rise in mixed-race births.

he world is changing, and we, the hateful and ignorant of America, need to change with it," ARBC chairman Tom Branson said at a rally Monday. "The time has come for our ugly, intolerant rhetoric to step into the 21st century. Our disgusting, dehumanizing slurs simply must reflect the terrifying new global society we now live in."

Added Branson, "In order to continue going backward, we first have to move forward."

18. The People Are Standing Against Them ...
.

The bowel movement of the 'Teabag Party', Freepers, and hate radio (the haters) is going no where. This is a re-run of the protests of the late 1960's.

The people's government of USA has the support of the people. Government doing the people's business fairly and openly is a positive influence in life. Get on with it and the people will support their governments' activity.

The haters have nothing. They are going no where.

Some people I know were thinking about burning some of their books. Should be fun to gather round and laugh at their shit and then toss it into the fire.
