Glenn Nye from VA says he is voting NO today. He has forgotten who got him elected: |
|
Lets bombard his office with calls. Those who he says he is looking out for in his district did not and will not vote for him. The ones who did all the leg work will not vote for him or work for him again if he votes no so his days are numbered in office.

1. Yes ! God forbid that a Democrat would actually take a stand |
|
AGAINST this Corporate Giveaway.
"U.S. Rep. Glenn Nye announced Saturday night he is voting against the Democratic health care bill today, saying it doesn't do enough to reduce the cost of health care, would make deep cuts in some hospital funding, and could cause problems for Tricare recipients."
So what exactly is wrong with this stance ?

2. I'm sure Nye has an alternative that will pass house and senate. |

He's just holding it close to his chest. Meanwhile, Fuck You with your preconditions!

4. Well the way I see it is that overall the Democrats have to start so far to the right |
|
in our disgusting environment of corporate controlled everything right down to the media that every bill has to be right-washed just to not get sneered at by the elite. Having moved so far to the right just to have a place at the table it appears that the Dems. have sold out but as I said in this environment they would be eaten alive if they went for single-payer or other methods that really would be a huge help to the people. Dems have to take baby steps because the public is so ill informed by big big big bucks and profitable industries.
So Nye should stick with the little we have achieved and work hard to educate his constituents to understand why the farther left ideals would be even better and encourage them to work towards that goal in years to come.

Glenn Nye... do I feel betrayed? You bet your ass I do! I've called and emailed Nye's office numerous times... I'm done with him! He will not have my support come this November. I can only hope there will be a viable candidate to get my vote, otherwise I'll not be casting one for a Congressional Rep from this district (I'll let the rest of this district's voting population to be "the deciders")... but I will be OUT THERE, trying my damnedest to take Nye down !
