Hume predicts Obama's presidency could be crippled by passage of health care reform
 So which is it? I thought the rethugs were saying all week he's going to lose EVERYTHING when this bill isn't passed. Again, damned if he does, damned if he doesn't, according to faux.

I think that's why he seems so grumpy.

3. Until Hume became such a Partisan, I respected him. Now I have
look at everything he says with a eye for how much of
this is wishful thinking on his part??? How much of
it is just trying to put an idea out there and hope
some will grab the idea and run with it.

When you use Polls that are geared Republican, it is
easy to make such off the wall predictions.

5. They try so hard. So very hard.
Not that I think any of us are entitled to be proud of this patchwork piece o' crap. But Bush had 8 years and never once proposed anything close. If Republicans had come up with this, we would have been real glad about what we got...oh wait.

11. I think there may be consequences either way with failing to pass it being worse than passing it
It's one of the reasons I wanted to see a much better bill. Passing a good bill would have been a clear win for the President. That said, most of what people will hate about this bill won't be clear to them until after his next election. Let's hope there will be some popular improvements made, anyway.

19. In the editorial room at FAUX:
Ailes: OK, I'm going to be ready for both scenarios here. Those of you seated in the first three rows be ready to
report on what a disaster this will be for Obama if he loses the vote. Those of you seated in the last three rows
be ready to report on what a disaster this will be for Obama if he wins the vote.

Finance director: Mr. Ailes, do we keep paying our protesters after the vote, and the people who bus them around?

Ailes: No, you idiot. We don't need them any more one way or the other for this issue. Put their names and addresses
on file for when we need them again, and send them home. Let Prudential or Aetna keep paying them if the want to.
They can still have the old scripts we gave them. Five per cent of those clowns were even intelligent enough to memorize
them, but the rest were only good for shouting and drawing misspelled signs.

22. The current talking point is to say that Obama's screwed either way
It's really an unpredictable future. The only sure thing is that he's screwed if it doesn't pass, which is why they are fighting tooth and nail to get it done. If (and when!) it does pass, all energy must turn to retooling it and doing everything possible to make it work and keep the promises. Get that done and he's golden.

24. Funny Foxpublicans keep talking about how dem's are going to be defeated because of healthcare.
What about republicans? I know I won't be reelecting my democrat because he is voting No. So I will be voted for another democrat or I will leave that position open and not vote for a congressman. I will vote for all other offices that are running.

25. Probably not. Looks like the Repukes aren't smart enough to just have a low-key
--campaign against mandates and benefit taxes. Looks like they're more into batshit crazy displays of sociopathology, though.
