I Just Read That 57,500 Are The Number Of Unisured Individuals In Lipinski's (D-IL -3rd) That....... |
|
would be insured should this get passed. Lipinski is a Stupak holdout on voting yes for this bill. In my mind 57,500 votes is a pretty substantial number of votes that shouldn't be neglected Congressman Lipinski. Why don't your office in Washington take calls. You've basically turned off your phone because you don't want to acknowledge the people in your district on this issue. You are a joke Congressman. You don't deserved to be in Congress. We're going to put you on the unemployment line the next time you're up for election. Be prepared. You might as well get some commitments from your insurance company friends. Maybe you can sell insurance when you get beat.

1. Anti health insurance Democrats are going down in flames |
|
because nobody is going to vote for a grandstanding idiot who is denying them health coverage, and we've reached the tipping point where everybody with coverage knows it's at risk.
GOPs can still get elected in some backwards districts on the basis of their silly promises to make everybody rich by lowering taxes. Some suckers will fall for that one every time. However, any district with enough Democrats to send someone to Washington is not going to send an anti American Democrat back. They'll just let Republicans take the seat if the jerk isn't knocked out in the primary.
1994 happened for a lot of reasons. I happen to think the foremost one was the shameful way the Democrats let Hillarycare die in committee rather than get debated on the floor, tweaked, and possibly passed in a better form.
