3. If there was just a 9/11 mute button
that would shut up about 90% of them.

4. Awww,,,,,,, you don't mean that!
The Repubs are the fun ones to listen to! Much more entertaining to listen to crazy rambling lies and disinformation!

5. simple solution:
1. throw your tv in the dumpster

2. don't buy another one

3. go outside and evangelize

4. don't accept another one from friends/family when they seriously cannot comprehend why you choose to live without television. they will ALL want to HELP you by giving you one of theirs.

10. Won't work. Next I'd have to throw my laptop away.
And I'm not doing that.

:)

12. almost every person i meet cannot fathom living their life without television
the prospect of it seems absurd to them, almost like you're talking about living without air.

my bottom line: if you have a tv, they have you.

6. My experience is that they are always on cable news...
...and always talking. So simply leave the TV on mute all the time. It'll save time and energy.

Alternatively, you could watch something else. Animal Planet is usually Republican-free, though the hyenas are very similar.

14. Kind of extreme. I like to hear Obama once in a while. And I'm liking Pelosi
more every day.

16. I am serious. One republican in congress during Bush years was going to (or
introduced) a bill to make mute buttons on remotes against the law. His claim being muting commercials was akin to stealing.
