It's Superbowl Sunday for Political News junkies...
I just think it is interesting that we are watching a proverbial countdown to the votes... Are there still arguments on the floor?

who has the ball, and will they punt or run it in...?

I am sitting here like a geek, spending my sunday morning flipping channels and reading DU..lol...You'd think this affects ME or something!

4. I know the feeling...
This is the climactic moment when the outcome of the fight is determined. I'll be watching c-span waiting for the vote tally.

We all have our guilty pleasures! LOL

5. It is a little frustrating with all the specualtion though...
like turning off john madden so you can watch the freakin' GAME, already!

So if they "know" who is voting what way, why do we have to wait for the vote? :shug:
Is this the last hours of "dealmaking" before the big game? Or is it more like the last bets being placed on the point-spread...hmmm

Also, the speculation of pundits on whether a voteof yes or no will affect the individual in november - how can they know? really?

I think that even WITH all the polls and whatnot, they stil don't **get the people and what we really want... ridiculous. Honestly, how can a yes vote put someone in jeopardy of holding his seat, but a no vote is going to be some kind of political magic bean...? seems a little slanted, but then again I AM watching David Gregory
