according to cnn the no's have 35 of the 38 democratic votes they need to kill the bill. looks like there are only 12 undecideds left, meaning the yeas need to pull a 10-2 margine to pass the bill... i don't like those odds

Although I seem to remember that some Republicans decided to vote for Medicare at the last second because they knew it would be popular and they wanted to be on record as having voted for it. Nowadays, though, the Republican party is much better at punishing those who step out of line.
