Anyone been following the bungling of the air india bombing case? |
It's all coming out now that there is an investigation. It was an airline bombing that killed over three hundred people in the 80s. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2007/05/01/air-india.html

2. This has, like, nothing to do with that |
It was a bombing that originated from civil problems in India, and it happened in 1986. Plus, Canadian authorities already busted up a terrorist plot last summer. Couple that with what the nation learned during the FLQ bombing campaigns of the 60s and 70s and I'd say we're pretty well aware of what can happen.

3. Not to mention, the whole adding "-istan" to place names... |
...in order to identify them with terrorism strikes me as incredibly racist.
