If the Republican uprising looks like a mini-revolution to you please consider this |
|
No revolution led by idiots has ever succeeded.

Okay, in the end it wasn't a success. But to get to the end, 50 million people died.
Can it happen here?
Yes it did from 2000-2008. Not as extreme as the Hitler Nation, but it was pretty bad.
We have many of the elements of a fascist state.
No big time media that tells the truth.
No third or fourth parties that pose a threat to the established, (two in number only) big money parties.
An irrational basis for forcing the nation's populace into blinders. Consider the Wagner/Valkerie "Germany Uber Alles" appeal that Hitler had for his people. Contrast that with the "My RW Christian minister told me that God tells him daily that we must kill all Muslims."

Not that the ayatollahs were idiots or leaders of the revolution, but it's an instance when the people who took over the revolution turned it into something idiotic. And that actually happens a lot with revolutions.

7. Orange revolution led by conservatives and backed by skin heads. Defunct |
|
Wanna buy some orange stocking caps? Real cheap. They still got warehouses full of that crap Bush sent over to them.
