I thought that if nothing else being a Democrat meant that you would vote with your Party on all procedural votes, such as this most inportant vote on the Rule for HCR. But no, there are now 27 "Democrats" who have voted against it.

5. Yes! So do I! I want to know every name of Democrats voting NO!
I think we should have a "portrait gallery" with e-mails so that we can let them know what we really think!

And yet, it is kind of reassuring that some Democrats are voting their mind!. . . (I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. . .maybe they do have a mind. . .and not just a huge wallet!)

For what I see of Republicans. . .NO ONE had the courage to differ from their norm!. . .that is so unlikely!
They are chickens and have NO mind of their own! I would have expected at least 2 or 3 to have the courage to stand up. . .oh well . . my last illusions about "Republicans" is gone!

4. I could see the logic

A Democrat who says he is a no on a bill of this stature will be pilloried by a Republican opponent for voting yes on the rule but no on the bill. In other words, fairly or not, he would be criticized for supporting, even if only the partially, the substance of the bill, if he supported the rule to move it to the floor for a vote.

These types of careful nuances about procedure usually get lost in the miasma of 30 second attack ads.

6. We really need the names at some point.
It would be great to work for their primary challengers. Every Democrat voting against this bill is a republican using our brand to screw up the country. If they want government jobs let them run as the pukes they are.
