Will someone please tell me the answer to this question |
|
What does the rethugs mean when they say..."THE AMERICAN PEOPLE "?????? Are they talking about themselves or are they talking about everyone. HCR is about helping everyone...even the crazy TEAPARTY ASSHOLES. When i look at the rethugs in session i see 97% white males...2% white females...and someone sitting there looking like they've gotten into the wrong sit in a movie. When i look at the Dems. I see everyone in this country. SO WHAT DOES THE RETHUGS MEAN WHEN THEY SAY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE?????????

1. They're referring to "real Americans" ... |
|
... you know, the ones who are white, ignorant, and dumb enough to vote Republican.

That the people agree with them, even though they lost the Presidency in Congress in the last election, they remain convinced that "the People" agree with them.

7. I hear it only too often |

John Bonehead saying ....'THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS BILL". Stupak the freak feels that he and his DEM 12 HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL A WOMAN HOW TO DECIDE ON HER BODY'S SITUATION. I believe that many of our congressmen and women just can't read. No one challenge these fucks by asking them what the hell do you mean when you say quote "THE AMERICAN PEOPLE".

8. Like most things they say, it means absolutely nothing. If it has any meaning, it is one of their |
|
homespun synonyms for "I" or "we".
Instead of saying WE don't want this health care bill, they say "The American people" don't want it. Of course, being total bullshit, this isn't true, but Republicans, being total liars, aren't restrained by such niceties.
