All the grandstanding you see now
is for the sake of the poor graduate student who will write a thesis on how we got this bill passed...

Just remember that...

This is what is Boehner doing... this is grandstanding for the sake of history...

I must say this speech will be on the record and will be fun to read in 20+ years or more... but this speech will be far from the consciousness of MOST muricans, like many others.

Now, now here is Mr. Boehner making the grand standing from hell, and reminds me a little of that famous vote back in... under Delay... remember that one?

2. Well, this is for the sake of history
just remember that. Just remember, how many people read the speeches before SS was passed, or Medicare was passed, or for that matter before Medicare Part D was passed?

3. And they passed MediCare part D, and it was not "socialism" ?
They are utter and complete jerks.

4. No it wasn't bcause it benefited the private sector greatly
this will potentially leave the insurance companies behind.

(I know the potential is there as it will need to be reformed, given the history of SS and Medicare... history is going to be prologue. Why the Republicans hate this)

5. It was not paid for.
That means it was paid by taxpayers or government - i.e. "socialism"
