I'm so embarrassed to ask this, but is this THE vote right now? I'm not sure
what "motion to concur in Senate amendments' means.

Thanks!

Jeez, we're right in the middle of it and I'm STILL confused.

3. THis is the vote on the Senate bill.
Immediately after this, they should vote on the Reconciliation bill.

When this vote is finished, the Senate version of the HCR bill will go to Obama's desk to become law.

4. This passes the Senate bill
And then there is a vote on reconciliation, and possible a motion before that according to another poster.

But once this passes, we have health care reform, even though it will definitely need a ton of tweaking. If/When reconciliation passes, then we've got some real reform.

13. They just approved the senate's health care reform bill. Now they
are voting to recommit meaning the GOP motion to kill by sending it back to committee.

14. The Senate bill has been passed by the House. Now they'll have debate and vote on the reconciliation
bill that adds some 'fixes' to the Senate bill. Then the Senate has to pass the reconciliation bill. That should come in the next week or 2.
