I just realized that suddenly there is an opportunity for more change right now. |

The passage of the health insurance bill will change the mood of the Democratic Congress so that for a short time, while the glow lasts, many more of them would be supportive of passing new legislation.
It's a psychological card Obama has at the moment.
I hope he jumps on it to get some other sticky issues through before the mood changes too much.

Seriously, I can't believe that people don't see that the dems have just shot themselves in the foot. This bill is going to be a huge whipping stick come election time.

There was a big rally on the Mall the corporate media has ignored today. The Democrats stand to completely isolate the rushpublicans from the Hispanics on this one and fix the messed up immigration laws to boot. Yes, this victory will create a lot of momentum to get that done.
