3. Nope. Senate passed it, that one goes straight to Pres
I read that he signs it on Tuesday. Reconciliation changes go to the Senate.

11. The Senate bill is passed
No matter what, the Senate bill will be enacted.

Now, reconciliation passed and it will go to the Senate for a vote.

13. Because Pres is going to sign this bil, already said he would and soon. So it is
done. Reed also says he has the votes in the Senate for the Recon bill. So it is passed and done.

14. A bill is passed
It is the Senate bill. It will become law on Tuesday when the President signs it.

Additions meant to enhance that law will go to the Senate. But there is a healthcare reform law in effect as of Tuesday.

15. My understanding is once the Prez Signs, the Senate Bill is Law
Then it would be tweaked by the reconciliation bill if the Senate passes it.

16. But the Senate bill was not what they voted on tonight? I thought they were
voting on their improved House version.

8. Senate bill was already passed by the Senate last December.
Since the House passed the exact same bill, it goes straight to President Obama's desk.

The reconciliation sidecar, which is being voted on as I type, and almost certainly will pass, goes to the Senate.
