Poll question: How long until we never hear of the "Teabagger Movement" again?
Since they've now been crushed and their "grassroots" funding is bound to dry up with the passing of HCR, how long until we never hear of them again?

1. Thinking that teabaggers are going to go away is just as delusional as them thinking the same
about progressives.

2. The Teabaggers were a tool.

They were started through corporate funds to help try to derail HCR and show that there was a grassroots movement against it. Now, that HCR has passed there's no reason to keep funding and organizing them.

11. More so. The teabaggers are more devoted to their cause and will not be going away any time soon. Al
though they will greedily snatch up every single benefit available to them as a result of this bill, while continuing to demonetize Dems and, especially, President "Hussein".

4. Are you crazy? They are funded by the ruling class. Their funds are never going to "dry up."
If you think this is over, you better steel yourself quick. They are going nowhere.

6. As soon as one of them does something stupid
They'll scatter to the four winds. I remember back before the Oklahoma city bombing, just about every idiot redneck at the gun shows was a "militia man". After the bombing, you couldn't find a "militia man" anywhere near a gun show, they were all of a sudden just recreational sport shooters.

I sincerely hope nothing like that happens and pray nobody gets hurt or killed, but I can't help but get a sinking feeling some "patriot" is going to lose it over the passage of the health bill. 99.999% of them are most likely harmless blowhards but then there's that .001% out there that is worrisome.

Immigration reform and job reform. More freedoms being "taken away" LOL! It's whatever Faux Noise tells them to do.

9. GOP leadership tied themselves closer to the teabaggers before the vote
so they will be more of a problem for the GOP leadership than anyone else is my guess.

thomas franks wrote a couple of books explaining this relationship b/t bible belt/blue collar conservatives and the country club corporate types

the teabaggers are just the latest regurgitation of that phenomenon.

basically how one uses and manipulates the other....but 2 noncongruent groups who would hate each other if they were physically joined.

what humors me most is these people have almost no self awareness: they show up to rallies with guns, yelling racial epithets, with nazi signs, and comparing
obama to hitler and communism in the same sentence ( a feat that goes unnoticed by its leaders stunningly since fascism and communism were polar antagonists)....

they are probably the biggest domestic terrorist group we have....they intimidate minorities, immigrants, and those who they disagree and they bring guns.
i wouldn't be surprised if they have roots in the same violent organizations that kill abortion doctors and even deeper roots into some of these militia new age groups that horde weapons and food and build fortresses on their properties in preparation for federal raids.
