Before November, Are There Any More Major Reforms That Can Be Passed? |
|
Health Care cleared it's biggest hurdle today. It will continue to dominate the media headlines, but the Congress has also been freed up to do other legislation. We have a few Senate members who could lose their election this year. I would think these reps can vote with their conscience until November. That aids in coalescing the caucus. So, is it possible to get any more big legislation passed before November? If, so what will the legislation be?
Keep in Mind:
The House has already passed major legislation on Climate Change and Financial Regulation The President seems to be emphasizing with K-12 Education Reform and Immigration System Reform
That basically means the Senate has to do get moving.

2. Better be finance reform and a real jobs package.. just hire people directly from the govt |
|
and forget trying to get the capitalistic pigs of private enterprises to "hire" workers. They just take the money and run out of the country.

3. If any "reform" plans look like this bill |
|
then they might as well forget it. Recovering from THIS "reform" is going to be hard enough.
