Lesson of the day: how much health care you deserve depends on your income
The Bronze level disposable human garbage will be forced to buy insurance that they can't afford to use, what with being on the hook for 40% of costs. I understand that the Platinum Penthouse is much nicer than the basement, not that I'll ever be able to afford to find out.

Inequality is good! The finest of Democratic values.

1. For a median income family for four on the bronze plan, serious medical care = $19,500 out of pocket

3. MIne is shitty, and it isn't subsisized
So you don't have to pay 40% of your costs. How special. Just lord it over all the rest of us who aren't that lucky.

6. The gold, silver, bronze business really bothers me.
Everyone should be entitled to equal medical care, regardless of income and large deductibles for those of us in the peon class won't accomplish that. If fat cats want super duper policies so their hospital room will be private, nicely decorated with a flat screen TV and private nurse, that's fine. But if the gardener and the fat cat both need a kidney transplant, everything should be equal.

7. Why does it not bother the majority of people on a supposedly Dem board?
Carving income and age inequality into stone? What in fucking hell is worth celebrating about that?

11. If you didn't already get that lesson - even in single payer systems you need the lesson
India has health care for all but if you make any money you pay out of pocket to get good care.

The savings illustrated by the Kaiser calculator is based on the silver plan:

•In many cases coverage will be more comprehensive and accessible than what is typically available today in the non-group market, so premiums cannot easily be compared to what people buying insurance on their own are now paying.

This plan is is going to make quality care affordable for millions.

17. How in fucking HELL do you justify anything more than ONE level?
Right. And in many other cases coverage will be a lot worse. Are you offering to pay my age penalty, perchance?

18. Legal mandantory extortion.

That's all it is. I quit paying health insurance 2 years ago because what I could afford was worse than useless and have been socking away that pittance for the rainy day which will happen. So now I am going to have to buy the crap anyway, getting hammered because of pre-existing conditions or pay a fine.

I wasn't expecting much but this bill is a 'fail' of epic proportions.
