Where was the right-wing outrage over the cost of the pending invasions?
And did the major media provide wall-to-wall coverage regarding those costs?
I don't recall any. Do you?

8. they claim NOW that they've always been against Bush's spending ...
now, in their simplistic ways, which sway the uninformed but don't fly past those who have been paying attention, they forget to acknowledge that the "spending" they were against does not include all the waste in Iraq ... just anything which would benefit non-millionaires ...

9. According To Them They Didn't Happen
Those defecits just showed up on January 21, 2009...all created by President Obama. Typical GOOP revisionism that lets them lie and deny their own bloody past and attempt to pass the blame of their own messes onto others.

What's astounding is how they can be called out on their brash hypocrisy and not flinch in lying and spinning.

4. They were telling us that either we were with them or against them
In their minds (publicly anyway) it would be unpatriotic to object to invasion of another country.

10. I don't recall any. This is just one thing, and there are lots, that pisses me off about these

dumbasses.

They had not a word to say about the cost of the Iraq invasion, but after a Democrat gets into the White House, they start whining about their taxes.

:puke: :grr:

11. as if they really object to the "cost" of a deficit-reducing package.
what they object to is that it's got "obama" and "democrats" and "victory" written all over it.

they wouldn't understand fiscal responsibility if it bopped 'em on the head. "deficit" is just another content-free buzzword for them to bandy about while they hurtle insults. they don't really understand what they're saying, and why should they, it only hinders spewing their programmed message.

12. But but but,
the invasions were for a good cause.

We could have been nuked at any moment. We had to fight them over there so we didn't have to fight them over here. We had to smoke 'em out. We had to get 'em on the run. They were wanted dead or alive.

13. We were going to pay for them with Iraqi oil money, remember?
Hell, we were maybe even going to make a profit. Glad that worked out so well for us.
