When a right winger gets in your face about this Health Care Bill just ask them |
How does this Bill differ from the Bill Republicans put together as an alternative to Clinton's Health Reform Bill? That usually stops them in their tracks because they really do not understand what is actually in the Bill.

1. Yeah, way to evade answering the question with a question |
What happened 15 years ago (and wasn't passed) is not near as relevant as something (horrible) that was passed last night.

2. It is relevant because there was NO republican bill to take |
the place of the failed Clinton one.

3. It's a red herring, as such |
because you're comparing something that didn't exist -- by your own definition -- to something that is now law.

4. It's never really been about the health care bill. |
This has been about race all along. In fact the whole Conservative/Liberal dust up in this country has been nothing but a continuation of the civil rights movement. All you have to do is look at the angry all white faces in the anti health care crowds to see what's obvious. These people are still mad they have to drink from the same drinking fountain as black people.

7. Absolutely. God Reagan planted the picture in their minds and it's never left. |
The Welfare Queen wearing furs and driving a Cadillac to get her food stamps.
That image will never leave their addled brains. They can't think for themselves.
