OK, Health Care is done, now what about the other 84% of the economy? |
|
Health care was in shambles and as we have all been told it constitutes 16% of our economy but now that is right as rain. Now what about the other 84%, how about starting with the Defense budget. Why not put that bad boy on the chopping block and solve all the nation's economic woes?

3. While I have no problem with cutting DoD now likely isn't best time. |
|
A lot of people (military, federal employees, defense contractors, private defense company employees) are employed by DoD. At a time when country is bleeding jobs left and right dumping more jobs likely isn't going to solve anything.
1) Get economy on track 2) End wars in Iraq & Afghanistan 3) Reduce size of DOD (and affiliated private companies Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, etc).
