3. I'm reacting to every time he comes on MSNBC. |

His current "Oh this bill isn't done yet, Dems have a long way to go" is just another example.

And he's right. If there are changes to the amendments, it goes back to the house. I think it's obvious that he is excited about last nights vote.

He's the son of a prominent father, that's all.

that his father worked for. Luke has shown himself to be someone who is a hard worker and is willing to learn. i still haven't seen any bias one way or the other from Luke and that Saturday, is a good place to start.

My son is 25 and trust me, no amount of talking would land him on TV. I don't care that they gave Luke a job but he could have started like everyone else, in the street with a microphone or possibly in Iraq reporting on young men and women of his age being lied into war by folks like his dad. The sad and sorry truth is that Luke and the * girl were hurled to the top, not because of ability but because of...well you know.

23. I've actually been pretty impressed with his coverage. If anything |
|
I thought he showed a lot of excitment when he was covering Stupak's annoncement. He was the first one I heard report that a Rethug Rep with a southern accent yelled out "Baby Killer" during Stupak's satatement in congress, and he seemed pretty disgusted by it.

We all know why he has got the gig there but he does seem to be trying to "get it" as clear as he can. His first attempts last year were quite painful at the very least. The new Hairdresser and Stylist have made him look, well, at least 22 years old now!!!
He WAS first on MSNBC to report on "Baby Killer" yes, but CNN (for some reason) had it first by like 10 minutes. It seemed to me that LukeBoy had to trudge out of the chambers and find the camera crew to tell us. Thus his coming in second. A personal trainer might increase his reaction time next time for the viewer...
At least I have not seen, (YET) a Bush button under his jacket like Pops did that time that everyone except we here at DU forgets about!!!!! You know, like how we don't forget about dead interns found in offices of Congressmen, Those things that kinda sticks in there pretty good, you know.

Maybe it's because he was green and new to being on the air at the time. He's had time to get more comfortable. He'll never be his father and I hope he doesn't try fill his shoes.
Luke's okay, IMO.
