in a very fair way to the Democrats instead of the usual MSM Dem-bashing extravaganza that happens.

What can you do but laugh when somebody opposes the bill because it's going to mess up their Medicare or Medicaid?

Or says the IRS is going to take their home if they're a day late making their premium payment. No kidding, someone said that.

11. big ed started his quest over a year ago when bc/bs raised his rates.

he called the bc/bs shield office to find out why and he was told they were rewarded a caribbean vacation for a record profits. that was the start of big ed`s crusade against for- profit health care. like everyone else he had to settle for what we got.

14. He did nothing to help pass HCR

His constant attacks did nothing but help drag this thing out, give the teapartiers time to organize, and lose many of the great provisions we had in the HELP Bill.

I love how the people who hated this bill a week ago are now taking credit for its passage. It is just wild.

and had on Weiner, Sanders, Rockeffeller and all thoe others that said public option or nothing and then, like them he caved and this pig is now the gtratest thing since sliced bread.

So like you, I dont get what the big thank you is aobut unless you think it is great to have "insurance" and still not be able to afford health care.

imo, he's the best thing to happen to TV commentary in a while. i have always though olberman was a clown. i do love rachel, i just think ed has broader appeal. she's more egghead (simply brilliant), but ed is more "meat and potatoes"
