NOW is the time for Dems and Responsible Journalists to put OXY-Rush & FOX News ON NOTICE! |

David Frum's latest piece about the HCR passage being the GOP's Waterloo is fairly accurate in it's description of the interaction between the right-wing hate mongers like Rush and the actual elected GOP members. Frum writes:
"So today’s defeat for free-market economics and Republican values is a huge win for the conservative entertainment industry. Their listeners and viewers will now be even more enraged, even more frustrated, even more disappointed in everybody except the responsibility-free talkers on television and radio. For them, it’s mission accomplished. For the cause they purport to represent, it’s Waterloo all right: ours."
I believe that the rhetoric from the right-wing hate machine will get worse if that is even possible. I believe it is very important for Democrats at all levels and responsible media to put men like Limbaugh and Beck on notice NOW that they and THEIR ADVERTISERS will be held to account if violence does occur by one of their followers. While these men and their corporate sponsors may never be held legally responsible, they should know that they will be held morally responsible by millions and millions of Americans for their exhortations to violence to their listeners.

3. While I can appreciate a good poke in the eye as much as the next guy, |

it might, in the future, behoove you to actually read the words as they are printed on your screen. It is mildly amusing to note that nowhere in the OP are Democrats described as being "responsible".
Just an FYI - I opposed this legislation and my feelings on the passage have very little to do with the OP.

4. apologies to you for the snark |
|
I'm in a bit of a mood today. Sincerely, I'm very sorry.
In any case, the title puts the dems on the side of responsible journalists, indicating the author considers them responsible by proxy.
