Odd: Republicans will now fight fixing the HC bill? |
|
Here is what I do not get. The GOP complained about a lot of "pork barrel" provisions in the Senate bill.
But when the House voted on the fix-up bill - a bill designed to repeal most or all of the "pork," - the Republicans voted against that as well. Can they be against the pork and also against repeal of the pork?
Those guys are so dedicated to being the Party of No that they will even vote against things they are for. That's a little strange.

1. I agree; sounds 'strange.' |
|
But they're 'thinking' processes are just so 'strange' to us, we'll probably never get it. That's life!!!

3. Rep. Louise Slaughter told them if they didn't like |

the earmarks in the Senate bill they were going to vote on, then help the Dems pass the reconciliation bill that gets rid of the earmarks. I chuckled when she said that.
