Keep it up
The health care bill wasn't the end of anything - it was the beginning. And while it's absolutely appropriate to take time to celebrate a huge legislative victory - and the fact that the wingers' loss was as big as Obama's win - I really hope progressives/Democrats/whatever remain engaged.

Make no mistake folks, this legislation, flawed as it may be, drove a stake right into the heart of the Limbaugh/Beck/Fox News right. They are going to be more pissed than ever now - which is why this side needs to stay in the game and keep on fighting.

1. Exactly! And I TRULY URGE the naysayers
to not hijack yet another thread with their negativity. You have a right to your opinion, certainly, but start your own thread and express it there. I'm just so tired of every single celebratory thread being brought down by cynicism.

5. There are many who should not be posting on DU. I'm going to
start hitting the alert button, though I hate to..It's like being a tattletail (to me), but I'm sick of them also. They contribute nothing and no one is going to bring me down.

6. I guess that's one way to avoid an opinion that doesn't exactly match yours.
It doesn't do much for actual conversation but then I suspect that those who are jumping up and down aren't much interested in that.

3. I noted CNN and MSNBC began 24/7 Tiger Woods
marathon this morning. I didn't hear one thing about HCR. Watched for about half an hour.

But damn if he didn't pull a rabbit out of the hat. The Obama magic lives!!

Now if he'd just exit Afghanistan...
