Senate Parliamentarian RULES IN FAVOR OF DEMS |
|
The best bet the GOP had to gum up the works, a point of order related to Medicare, was struck down by the Senate Parliamentarian.
They still could come up with something to strike a sentence or add an amendment, but that's the biggest hurdle so far on this.

There best bet was that the bill would cause an increase in wages and therefore cause taxpayers to pay more in Social Security taxes.
