Basically, he said that the less anger Rush inspires in his listeners, the less likely they are to listen to his radio program.

Ain't it the truth. KO is brilliant.

for the same reasons why people also slow down to look at train wrecks.

2. I wish Rush's listeners would talk him into running for office...
..that would expose the man behind the curtain, once his followers see that he couldn't come up with a single solution to anything. If he had to debate someone, and he no longer controlled the format, all you would have to do is have him list all of the socialist, government-run programs he would keep, like maybe fire depts, police, NASA, the CDC, the military and on and on.

He would have to admit to being in favor of the vast majority of the budget being "socialist" or come up with some viable private alternative. Maybe he could start by saying how he would privatize Social Security. maybe he could hand the Coast Guard and Nasa over to Haliburton...

3. Do Rush and Hannity and Beck's fans
..wonder why they don't run for office, I mean they have all the answers, right? they got plenty of money why don't they take their vast knowledge and ideas and run for public office and save America? why won't they do it? why do they hate America? Could it be that the minute they no longer control the format of debate, they'd be utterly destroyed? yeah, that's it. They're like the wicked witch in The Wizard Of Oz-seemingly all-powerful and wiped out by a bucket of water. If we can figure out how to get them to run, they could be humiliated in front of their subjects once and for all.
