7. That is funny but . . .

the "loyal opposition's" fans and supporters are about an RCH away from morphing into a lynch mob. I don't know if my sense of humor will survive if they were to come at me the way they did to Barney Frank, John Lynch et al today. The anger of the tea party poopers and their ilk, and their Republican elected supporters, is downright scary.

I'm glad Keith Olbermann is back, lambasting them with "special comments," but his point of view, that the blatant racism and anti-gay prejudice will end up scuttling the Republicans in the November election may not be correct. I hope he's right, but I'm not sure people like us who post on sites like this are safe living in the same country with these angry dupes, these sheep in a shark-like feeding frenzy.

9. I am not afraid

of freeps/teabaggers/militia types - either individually or collectively. They are spineless cretins who fantasize about terrorizing liberals, but not 1 in 10,000 has the wherewithal to levitate their pasty asses from their comfy chairs and take up arms against their fellow citizens. I consider it unlikely that the next Timothy McVeigh is trolling the internet; he's probably toiling in anonymity, and unless law enforcement gets lucky, they probably won't identify the fucker until it's too late...but what else can you or I do about it? I'm sure as hell not going to waste my life worrying about when the next domestic terrorist attack will occur. The coward dies a thousand deaths, after all, and succumbing to fear is the surest way to endure a miserable-ass existence.

BTW, the best one ever (IMO) was done with Hillary Clinton as Hitler when the tide swung to Obama being the nominee but before the convention had taken place.
