AR-Sen: Look who is whoring for Lincoln

The DSCC has dispatched one of its favorite fundraisers to help out Blanche Lincoln:

Carville jumps headfirst for Lincoln the day after Lincoln promises to vote against the health care reconciliation fix. The fundraising email says:

Blanche has been a constant advocate for Arkansas. She has lead bipartisan initiatives to expand health coverage to millions of uninsured working families, create a new energy policy, and target tax cuts to the middle class. To me, it is clear that Blanche is the type of Senator you'd want representing you. She has that Arkansas common-sense that more people in Washington need to listen to. That's why it's important for you and I to stand with her today.

Expand health care coverage? She was critical to killing the public option, and now she's voting against the reconciliation fix. Create new energy policy? She's trying to gut the EPA's ability to regulate greenhouse gases while opposing cap and trade. Arkansas common sense? Only if it's common sense to sell your soul to the highest corporate bidder. And when you're sporting an approval rating in the 30s, it's clear Arkansas itself is done with her.

Well, the party establishment has sent out its dinosaurs to try and rescue Lincoln. It's up to us to counter.
