The hypocrisy of pro-life proponents |
|
I'm speaking of those on the right mostly. They want to protect the life of the unborn or so they say. Yet we have seen in this health care battle that the right is not bothered with feelings of empathy toward those who cannot afford medical care and who may die for lack of care. So putting those two ideas together logically, the right does not care about life after a baby is born.
That is a message we should be shouting from the mountain tops as loud as we can.

1. They only care about you if you are a fetus or a vegtable. But if you are born |
|
or come out of the coma they don't want to help you get adequate healtcare, education, nutrition, shelter, work, fair representation in the courts or government...
it really wants to make be blow a gasket.

2. Their philosophy is simple. |

"Right to life" begins at conception, and ends at birth.

3. Let me explain what the abortion issue is about |
|
Edited on Tue Mar-23-10 12:40 PM by Tony_FLADEM
The right uses the abortion issue to be self righteous and sanctimonious. Taking the "moral" position on abortion allows them to avoid having to apply moral principles to issues such as health care or poverty. It's easier to be against abortion than actually giving health care to people who don't have it.

once it is a child of a HCR supporter you can kill it. I also love the pro-life/pro-death penalty folks. Seriously, they are too dumb to comprehend reality or what their statements even represent.
