Really well sourced and linked, worth the read:

Excerpt:

You can't flip out -- and threaten impeachment - when Dems use a prlimentary procedure (deem and pass) that you used repeatedly (more than 35 times in just one session and more than 100 times in all!), that's centuries old and which the courts have supported. Especially when your leaders admit it all.

You can't vote and scream against the stimulus package and then take credit for the good it's done in your own district (happily handing out enormous checks representing money that you voted against, is especially ugly) -- 114 of you (at last count) did just that -- and it's even worse when you secretly beg for more.

You can't fight against your own ideas just because the Dem president endorses your proposal.

You can't call for a pay-as-you-go policy, and then vote against your own ideas.

Are they "unlawful enemy combatants" or are they "prisoners of war" at Gitmo? You can't have it both ways.

You can't carry on about the evils of government spending when your family has accepted more than a quarter-million dollars in government handouts.

You can't refuse to go to a scheduled meeting, to which you were invited, and then blame the Dems because they didn't meet with you.

You can't rail against using teleprompters while using teleprompters. Repeatedly.

You can't rail against the bank bailouts when you supported them as they were happening.

You can't be for immigration reform, then against it .

You can't enjoy socialized medicine while condemning it.

3. Executive order
Now let's have Obama do an executive order and decree single payer health care. Rush Limbaugh and his dittohead lemmings would have a stroke.

8. Yes you can
You can because the media sucks and the public don't pay enough attention to figure this shit out. Its only a lie if you get caught. Nobody is catching them or calling their BS.

You can't claim to be religiously aligned with Jesus's teachings and the Ten Commandments and advocating assassination of foreign leaders you don't like.

Nice page on that link... I'm sure I can come up with more too, but its tough to find stuff he already doesn't have.

You can do all those things and get approving nods from your base of support -- if you are a Republican.

13. Bookmarked. Every damn thing is in there - didn't know about the "affair w/the mother-in-law" thing.
"...replace a guy who cheats on his wife with a guy who cheats on his pregnant wife with his wife's mother..." -- holy camoly:

Meet newly minted Rep. Daniel Stout.

His campaign Web site touts his conservative, pro-family bona fides. "I believe Paulding County wants someone who will stand strong for the conservative principles we've always believed in ... lower taxes, limited government, personal responsibility, and valuing Life from the womb until natural death," he says.

But, as the writer Tom Crawford of Capitol Impact noted this week, Stout "has been compelled to address a personal incident from 10 years ago: he had an affair with his first wife's mother while his first wife was pregnant with their daughter. Stout and his first wife subsequently divorced."

In a statement to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Stout apologized and said, "This humbling experience changed my life dramatically."

He also said the relationship with his mother-in-law "was stopped short of 'sex.'"

19. You mean Tom Crawford didn't have sex with that woman -- his mother-in-law.
I have, in all my life, never heard of someone caring that much about their mother-in-law. Well, I learned something new today. How absolutely depraved.

Both here on DU and on my own computer. This one is a KEEPER-beyond-all-keepers. All the smackdown/hit-'em-back talking points WE need.

A MUST read for every DUer, progressive, liberal, Democrat, AND ESPECIALLY, for all independents.

For the record:

An unbelieveably, brutally good smackdown of the GOP

22. That is excellent.
But they simply ignore reality. It really doesn't matter how wrong they are, they just keep insisting they are right. Read the comments to see examples.

They say "Democrats do the same thing." As if we could even begin to approach the level of hypocrisy that is their very lives.
