2. How political. Poor Patrick. Who's going to read a note on a grave
except maybe the press?

4. So what?
He did a touching thing to communicate with his father even though he won't see it. It was a way to express his emotions.

5. Yup. I don't put a rose on my Grandma's grave for other people to admire.

8. Also: Kennedy Sons Give Obama Copy Of Health Security Act, w/ personal notes
From TPM

Kennedy Sons Give Obama Copy Of Health Security Act

The late Ted Kennedy's sons, Edward Kennedy and Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), gave President Obama a copy of Ted Kennedy's "Health Security Act," legislation he introduced in 1970. On the copy, they each wrote a personal note.

"The Day, Mr. President, what you completed what my Dad once called 'the great unfinished business of our country.' -- EMK"

"President Obama, My father carried on his brothers legacy of social justice in health care and you not only have completed it but you renewed our faith in the possible and made us once again proud to call you our president. Love, Patrick"

Patrick Kennedy also visited his father's grave yesterday to leave a note. "Dad, the unfinished business is done," he wrote.
